    So I have been seeing a lot of my friends hike Old Rag over the years & I have never been. Is anyone interested in going with me this fall? Not sure when, but wanted to see if there was any interest.

    Hey Melissa,

    Tom and I hiked Old Rag several years ago, and it is a great hike. It is always crowded during the fall season, and you will play the wait game around the scramble sections. I recommend to go on a weekday, early morning, rather than a weekend, as the pay parking lot fills up quick, and you won’t enjoy the hike as much with lots of hikers, especially when it comes to the rock scramble sections.
